A GOOD ‘RO’

How many times have you had a Range Officer who was, well, not the best? Perhaps they stood in your way, or they didn’t watch out for you during the stage, or maybe they could have prevented you from making a procedural, but didn’t? I can say that’s happened to me plenty of times. But, as many times as I’ve had that experience, I’ve also had some good RO’s. Having a good RO really helps you shoot a better stage. Recently while shooting at a Regional, on the
last stage, I almost got a procedural. But, fortunately I had a good RO who actually told me “nuh-ha,” so I then shot at the correct target, and not only did I not receive a procedural, I also shot a clean stage. Yay! So, that’s all it really takes. The next time you are an RO, watch out for your shooter
